tide API

What tide is

tide indexes every transaction, event, balance change and object version on Sui since genesis, with a live tail about a second behind the chain. The API gives you that index as JSON-RPC and REST methods with Sui-native fields, ready for apps and agents.

• Assets. One asset shape for NFTs, kiosk items, SuiNS names and coins, with the DAS methods.
• Parsed transactions. Every transaction comes back typed, with a one sentence description, transfers, object changes and events.
• History. Balances, holdings and holders at a past date, address history with filters, object versions, and events by range.
• Agents. A remote MCP server, llms.txt and an OpenAPI file. An agent can get its own key with one signed call.

Every answer carries an asOf field that says which checkpoint it is true at, and every USD value carries the time of its price.

You can call the API with no key to try it. The keyless tier allows 2 requests a second and 1,000 credits a day per IP. For more, get a free key at tide.ad/dashboard. See Authentication and keys.

Three calls

Each example below runs as is. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key, or delete the header line to use the keyless tier.

1. List the assets a wallet owns

The DAS method getAssetsByOwner returns NFTs, kiosk items and, with an option, coins.

2. Read a parsed transaction

Send digests to /v0/transactions and get typed transactions back, each with a plain description.

3. Look up a balance on a past date

No other Sui API answers this directly. balance-at returns one coin balance at a time or checkpoint.
