Every Sui transaction pays two things: a computation fee, which goes to validators and stakers, and a storage charge, which goes into the storage fund. When an object is deleted, 99% of its storage charge comes back as a rebate, so the fund tracks the storage cost of all live objects. Computation fees are small next to the stake subsidy, which still pays for most staking rewards. Figures are per epoch (about one day), taken from the end-of-epoch checkpoint.
